The INCA project has attracted interest from many countries and sectors. In the UK, the need for intercultural skills becomes increasingly important to a workforce made up of ever higher proportions of people from a variety of language and cultural backgrounds.

Standards
CILT, the National Centre for Languages has received funding from UK Coordinating Group (UKCG) to conduct research into developing standards for intercultural competence.
For more information on this research project, please click here.

Product development
The food and drink, construction, hospitality, retail, aviation and transport sectors are in the process of negotiation to develop INCA products.

At the BF/M institute at the university of Bayreuth, the INCA tools are adapted to use in meeting the needs of SMES. The usual offer is a one day off-the-job assesment center.
Please contact bfm@uni-bayreuth.de for more information.

Guidance
CILT, the National Centre for Languages, with the support of its Regional Language Network North West, has developed a guide for businesses on intercultural skills.
